Write to help@deyloapp.com and a person will answer. The notes below cover the questions we get most.
A message you have to walk to. Someone leaves a drop for you at a real place. You get told something is waiting, not what. It opens when you're at the place itself, and they find out the moment it does.
Install Deylo first, then open the invite link again from the message it arrived in. If the code doesn't appear on the first screen, type it in. Codes expire after a while, so if yours is refused, ask the person who invited you for another.
You have to be at the place itself. If you're standing there and it stays locked, close the drop and open it again so we check your location fresh. Check that Deylo is allowed to use your location while you're using the app.
You don't have to go. A drop you never open stays locked, and nobody is told you stayed away. If the drop or the person worries you, report it from the drop itself or block them, and write to us if you want a person to look.
Every drop has a report action, and reports reach a person, not a queue nobody reads. You can also write to us directly. Include the invite code or the name on the account if you have it. Accounts used to harass someone, or to send people somewhere unsafe, lose access, along with the invites they handed out.
Deylo is invite only, and we can't hand codes out from here. If you know someone on Deylo, ask them. Everyone inside can invite a few people. If you don't, tell us your community on the home page. When enough people from one place want in, that's where we open next.
We check where you are when you're opening a drop, and that's the only thing your location is used for. We don't keep a history of where you've been, and nobody in Deylo can see where you are. If you allow it, your phone can nudge Deylo when you're near a locked drop. The Privacy page lists everything we store.
Day-lo.
Delete it yourself from Settings in the app. It removes your account, your push tokens, and your community membership. If you'd rather we do it, write from the address on your account.
